Clover Homestay

We stayed here after an independent trip to Bromo. It was perfect to rest before getting a train in the morning. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the staff very nice. They have a restaurant which was practical, the menu was diversified and prices correct. They offer a free pick-up/drop-off to the train station. A special mention to the ethics of the staff, I booked the same hotel in a different period, when the Bromo was closed for a Hindu celebration, and they mentioned that before my arrival so I canceled my reservation. Sometimes in tourism people only wants to make money but they were transparent. Everything for a very affordable price. I totally recommend this place!

Very kind stuff, helpful, and communicative. Breakfast were a little bit poor, could be better, but that's maybe personal preference. I can really recommend this accommodation, especially if you plan Bromo trip or you need help with further traveling.

I was surprised at how beautiful this was. We arrived at a sunny courtyard with shadows and nice decorations, the hotels chillout space is very inviting, colourful, cozy and comfortable. Our superior room was good and very clean. Towels were clean, floor was clean, bed was clean and comfy. Toilet did not stink at all.(which was such a great thing after coming from stinky toilets in the mountains) We got free shuttle service to the trainstation and free breakfast. Burger for dinner was also very good. The staff was amazing! Very kind and friendly, patient and helpful. We had a wonderful stay here inbetween our volcano trips, Thank you.

Nice place in well-maintained area of the city, walkable distance to the centre and train station. The rooms are very simple, a bit outworn but since the price is low, you can't complain much. They also organize various tours, we tried Bromo for 600k per person, it was worth it and it was also very special (there were just 2 of us). The breakfast is at 25k per person for a menu that has 4 options. There is also a restaurant on the site that serves food until 8.30pm. Free car transfer from the train station (but not the other way). The staff speaks English, and you can pay with foreign cards here.

This Homestay is a great place to stay, especially if you wish to organise some trips. The staff is very helpful and we were able to organise with them the tempaksewu waterfalls, the mount bromo and the Ijen trip. Everything went smoothly. They have a free pick-up service, they were waiting for us at the probolingo train station the day we arrived. The price quality is just great. The rooms are very basic but if you are planning tours you don’t need more. The food they serve is also very good. I can recommend this place.
